Don’t stay here. We picked it only because it was the first hotel we saw on Google Maps after the Iron Ore train ride and we didn’t check the reviews. There are bed bugs, and even by Mauritanian standards it’s terrible place. A much better hotel is just 200 metres away.

We stayed here after we rode the iron ore train. Had no issues, everything was fine for us. We learned that in Mauritania it is normal for them to only give one towel. Easy to fix, just ask the front desk for another and they will give it to you. They provide body soap in the shower if you need it.…

Beware of Fake 5 star reviews. Rooms were very badly maintained, and full of bed bugs worst hotel/room i have been in Africa despite extremely high prices.
